AirPigz podcast #12 (37:47)
Kent Pietsch (sounds like 'peach') has been flying airshows since 1974 and he's one of the featured performers at the 2010 Indy Air Show that runs Friday thru Sunday June 11-13 at the Mt Comfort airport just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. One of his specialties is landing his little 1940's Interstate Cadet on a small platform mounted on top of a small motorhome or pickup truck - it's pretty amazing to see! He also does a comedy act with the airplane, and a 'deadstick' routine... aerobatics with the engine shut down! We talk about Kent's airshow experiences and lots of other flying too.

Budd Davisson has been an icon in the aviation world for a long time, and he's still going strong as the Editor-in-Chief of Flight Journal magazine. He's also running airbum.com which collects his pilot reports, photography and much more from 40 years of work as an aviation writer and all around airplane nut. If all that wasn't enough, he's been running a Pitts Special training school for well over 30 years. Budd Davisson is a very interesting guy!
